Installation

Thormec  thermal-earth heat pumps are easily installed by your plumber and electrician.

For the plumbing side of the installation, it is the same as an oil/gas boiler with the added two pipes for the flow and return of the water from the designated water source, well, spring or borehole.

There are plumbing installation CAD drawings available for the installation, upon request.

The electrical supplies needed are as follows:

For a TEJ-8, 10, 12 and 18 is a 32 amp supply.  This is for a single phase unit.

For a TEJ-25 this will be a 40 amp supply.  This is also a single phase unit.

If you are looking to put a 3 phase unit in, you will need to have a 16amp 3 phase supply.

All Thormec units are available for single and 3 phase electrical supplies up to the 25kw output.

35kw upwards are available in 3 phase supply only.
