What are thermal-earth heat pumps

Basically a geothermal heat pump is essentially a fridge, and the warmer the cold part of the fridge is kept – the evaporator, the more heat it gives out on the hot part – the condenser. The water is taken from the ground, travels through specially designed heat exchangers and keeps the evaporator the same as the ground temperature. Thus the condenser increases in temperature and efficiency. It is the heat generated by the condenser that we use to warm our heating system.

  • Water taken from natural sustainable sources ie. wells, boreholes, rivers or even the sea
  • Up to 400% more efficient than conventional heating systems and up to 76% cheaper to operate if used with other Energy Efficient systems.
