These are some of our FAQ's

What size is the thermal-earth heat pump?         We recommend that a space of 1 meter square is allowed for the set up of the unit with the manifold. This can be in a garage or an outhouse.

What happens to the waste water?                    The waste water can be drained into the normal soakaways of the house, into a ditch or for rain water recycling.  The heat pump only runs for short periods of time as and when the heating and hot water is required, as a normal gas or oil boiler would.

Do we need a license to extract the water?        Ground and surface water exemption applies for one's own domestic purposes where the quantity abstracted for this use is less than 20m cubed in any period of 24 hours.  Our 25kw heat pump will only use 8m cubed maximum on the coldest winters day

How is the heat pump plumbed in?                         The plumbing for the heat pump is all standard plumbing installation.  CAD drawings are available for the plumber and electrician.

What electrcity supply is required?                         All units run on a 3 phase and single phase electricity supply.  The largest in the single phase is a 25kw unit, and we can manufacture any size in 3 phase.                                                                                                                                                       Is it just for use with underfloor heating?               No, we can also incorporate new modern radiators with the use of our geothermal heat pumps, as the temperatures achieved using a water source heat pump are higher.
